Leadership Camp is a great opportunity for FFA members across the state to come together for a week of leadership and service together. Graves Mountain Lodge is a wonderful spot in the Shenandoah Valley to experience the great outdoors.
We are excited to let you know that we will be offering chapters two options for the 2023 State Leadership Camp, a one-day Leadership Camp or a three-day overnight camp at Graves Mountain Lodge. Our state officer team is planning a day filled with new activities as well as some of those from our normal week camp.
CAMP DATES FOR THE 2023 SEASON:
July 10, July 11 - Day Camp
July 11 - 14 - Overnight camp
Advisors should pick their first choice of dates, but also list a date for 2nd choice, in case your first date is filled.
Day Camp
We will cap our day camp numbers at 75 campers per day. Campers will remain in cohorts throughout the day, including meals. Other mitigation protocols, and recommendations such as social distancing, will be maintained.
Day Camp will run from 10am to 8pm, with two meals served at the picnic shelter. Most activities and meals will be outside.
Registration will begin at 9:30 am each camp day. Upon arrival, go directly to the Sycamore Picnic Shelter. (Take the first left after passing the main entrance to the Lodge).
Day Camp Cost
The day camper fee will be $ 40 per person for the day. Payment should be made when registering, and the due date is June 6. Scholarships are available for those students needing financial assistance, please contact Tess Seibel or Turner Trice for the scholarship application.
Overnight Camp
The overnight camper fee will be $ 225 person. Payment should be made when registering, and the due date is June 6th. Overnight camp will be held on July 11th – 14th. Please plan to arrive at Graves Mountain by 4:30 pm on July 11th. Dinner will be included and will be at 6pm. Scholarships are available for those students needing financial assistance, please contact Tess Seibel or Turner Trice, for the scholarship application.
RESERVATION DEADLINE - June 6, 2022
Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations should be requested as soon as possible and not later than JUNE 6 on the registration form, located on the website. You should submit a check for the full amount with the reservation form. Please adhere to this deadline so that arrangements can be made with Graves Mountain for food and so that sufficient materials and t-shirts can be ordered. Be sure all reservations are sent to:
