2026 Summer Conference
Location: Natural Bridge Hotel, Natural Bridge, VA
Dates: July 13–16, 2026
VAAE’s flagship professional development event featuring workshops, tours, networking, and statewide collaboration.
Registration: $300 (members) | $425 (non-members)
Registration Deadline: June 20, 2026
Invoices Issued: July 1, 2026
Early Career Teacher Conference: Sponsored by VAAE (no additional cost).
Begins Monday, July 13 at 8:00 AM, with additional sessions throughout the conference.
Sessions will also include topics specifically designed for career switchers and new teachers (0–3 years of experience).
New for 2026: Family-Friendly Option
We are exploring options for children’s activities during the conference.

Rate: $110 (Virginia State Rate) for singles, $120 for a double
Additional booking details and deadlines will be shared with registered attendees.

Retired teachers attending only the reception and dinner should complete the RSVP form below.

Dr. Glenn Anderson Professional Development Scholarship
The Dr. Glenn Anderson Professional Development Scholarship provides a $500 travel stipend to support participation in VAAE or NAAE professional development opportunities.
Applicants must have been a VAAE member for at least six months. Funds support future opportunities only; financial need is considered.
