Forestry & Wildlife Recognition

Purpose of the Award

The Chapter Forestry & Wildlife Award recognizes chapters that intentionally integrate forestry and wildlife topics into their agricultural education program and FFA activities.

Chapters are evaluated using a standardized rubric that measures instructional efforts, student participation, chapter activities, and outreach related to forestry and wildlife conservation.

Reviewing the rubric prior to submission is strongly encouraged to ensure all applicable components are addressed.

Deadline: Friday, March 6, 2026

Certificates are awarded at the Virginia FFA State Convention in June.

Chapters should ensure all information aligns with rubric expectations prior to submitting the application.
