Public Relations Recognition

About This Award

Strong public relations help tell the story of agricultural education and FFA at the local level. Through intentional communication efforts, chapters build community support, increase visibility, and showcase the impact of their members and programs.

Chapters select and document the public relations activities they have completed during the year. Awards are determined by total points earned based on submitted activities.

5 points – Bronze Recognition
6 points – Silver Recognition
7+ points – Gold Recognition

Important Reminders

Deadline: Friday, March 6, 2026

Certificates are awarded at the Virginia FFA State Convention in June.

Required signatures include the Chapter Reporter, Chapter President, Advisor, and School Administrator.

Public Relations Award Application (will be available February 1st)

Select all public relations activities completed by your chapter. Paper or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
