Agricultural Issues Forum
OVERVIEW
Participants in the Agricultural Issues Forum LDE research the pros and cons of an agricultural issue and present their findings and theories to a panel of judges. The event helps students to develop critical thinking, problem solving and formal communication skills.
EVENT LOCATION & TIME
The Agricultural Issues Forum Leadership Development Event will be held at the 100th annual Virginia FFA State Convention, in June of 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
Active FFA members from the same chapter in grades 7-12 may constitute a team of three to seven members.
PORTFOLIO DUE DATE
A copy of the issues portfolio is due May 20th in PDF form electronically by 5:00 PM (link).
