SAE Project(s)
My SAE projects are Beekeeping, working at a local farmers market, and agritourism. With beekeeping I have 3 bee hives and I extract the honey and sell it to local customers. My second SAE is working at a local farmers market, Spring Valley Farm Market, where I do anything from stocking to cleaning to working the cash register. My final SAE is agritourism where I work at an attraction at a local farm that brings people to the farm to learn about agriculture.
Favorite CDE or LDE
My favorite LDE that I competed in throughout my FFA career was the Parliamentary Procedure contest. That was my favorite contest because it allowed me to be quick on my feet and challenge myself in a fast paced environment. I was fortunate enough to be on the Stare winning team in March 2022
Favorite FFA memory
My favorite FFA memory was winning the Parliamentary Procedure contest. I worked at that contest for 3 years and it was my favorite contest that I competed in, so being able to win the state in that contest brought me lots of joy and allowed it to be my favorite FFA memory thus far.
Future Plans
I plan on attending Virginia Tech in fall 2023 to major in Agribusiness, but I am unsure what exact career I will enter into with my degree.
