The Andrea Lohr Memorial Scholarship
The Andrea Lohr Memorial Scholarship honors the passionate service of Mrs. Andrea Lohr who embodied the essence of servant leadership and love for the FFA. She became an active FFA member and earned the office of Kentucky State FFA President in 1993. Andrea taught agricultural education in Rockingham County for four years before electing to stay home with her children in 2001. Along with her husband, Andrea spoke in all 50 states sharing words of inspiration, passion, and love with FFA members. Andrea truly touched the lives of thousands of FFA members.
In 2006, Andrea was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer and courageously battled the disease until July 2011. To anyone who knew Andrea, her drive, passion, faith, and love for family and life were signature characteristics that defined the way she lived and served every day. Andrea believed in the value of agricultural education and FFA programs and her legacy and values continue even today.
